The Hero Stone: Patagonia Quartzite

At the centre of the project is the breathtaking Patagonia Quartzite — one of the most luxurious and visually striking natural stones available.

Known for its dramatic veining and elegant blend of blush, ivory, crystal, and soft grey tones, Patagonia Quartzite combines the beauty of marble with the durability and strength of quartzite. Its translucent qualities make it ideal for statement architectural applications.

Within the GPO, Pink Patagonia Quartzite was selected as the hero material to create sculptural focal points that balance elegance, warmth, and sophistication.

A Stunning Curved Backlit Quartzite Splashback

One of the most captivating features of the venue is the custom curved backlit splashback, sculpted from a single slab of Pink Patagonia Quartzite.

Inspired by the soft form of butterfly wings, the curved quartzite feature showcases the stone’s natural translucency, allowing light to pass through and illuminate the intricate mineral patterns hidden within the slab.

The result is a glowing architectural centrepiece that captures movement, texture, and light — transforming natural stone into functional art.

Every edge, join, and curve throughout the GPO project was intentionally designed to highlight the organic beauty of the natural stone.

Throughout the kitchen bypass and custom joinery, NV STONE delivered exceptional vein matching to maintain uninterrupted movement across every stone surface.

Each slab, panel, and drawer front was meticulously aligned to ensure the natural patterns flowed seamlessly throughout the installation.

The 3D Curved Quartzite Maitre D Table

One of the project’s most technically advanced stone features is the sculptural 3D curved Maitre D table, crafted entirely from quartzite.

Designed with flowing continuous curves, the piece required advanced digital templating, precision fabrication, and expert hand-finishing to achieve its seamless form.

Finished with a honed matte texture, the table invites touch while acting as a dramatic focal point within the venue.
